The quarterback position is probably the hardest for me to rank. With offenses moving towards a more pass-happy NFL, 4,000 passing yards now seems to be the standard in which I have to identify QB for 2012. I truly believe that my top five QB could easily flip in an order. Obviously we want the safe pick and that’s why to me the safest is Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay Packers QB is durable, can sling it around the field and has enough speed and elusiveness to get outside the pocket with a nose for the end zone.
Two potential sleepers to target later in the draft, if you can’t snag a top tier QB, are Chicago Bears Jay Cutler and Tampa Bay Buccaneer QB Josh Freeman. Cutler is re-united with his former Denver Bronco WR Brandon Marshall which finally gives Cutler a true No.1 WR. Freeman on the other hand gets himself another No.1 WR when the Bucs signed Vincent Jackson to compliment Mike Williams.
