Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots TE
The Tight End rankings are for standard and PPR leagues. You’ll notice a flip-flop as far as the No. 1 and 2 rankings for each league format. New England Patriot’s TE Rob Gronkowski is a TD machine for standard leagues, while on the other hand, New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham is target machine giving him the No.1 rankings for PPR leagues. Let’s be honest though, I think as a fantasy football owner we’d be happy owning either no matter what our league format rules are.
Antonio Gates returns to my top five after battling injuries in 2011. All indications are that Gates will return to form giving fantasy owners the beast of old at the TE position.
Need a potential sleeper pick, look no further than two prior Indianapolis Colts, TE Jacob Tamme of the Denver Broncos and TE Dallas Clark now apart of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both TE will be tier three until I can see them in action during training camp. Both though have tremendous upside if healthy.
