Yeah tell me about it. I understand football drafts are going on but maybe have a weekly podcast. we did pay for a daily podcast but I also understand things happen an udated would be nice.
Dumping is part of a lot of dynasty leagues, I don’t think it should be banned.. very hard to gauge what someone is thinking. If you need a limit, put a salary cap on the active and reserve rosters or a number of trades per year, or a veto of some sort, careful on leaving it solely with the commissioner if they play in the league.
Drafting and trading rookies is a skill, anyone who kept Rosario, Rizzo, Trout etc.. all would agree.
On the other hand if people are obviously colluding or its a one year league where the 10th place team is trading with the top teams and changing the league balance I think that just ruins it for everyone.
I love making trades but hate others making them.
Lenny, I am with you on the dump trades, I hate it. But, I have given up on arguing with people about it, because if it’s legal in the league rules, there is no talking people out of it. You can try and get the league rules changed to make dumping harder to do. I have left all but one keeper league with trading, because it drives me so crazy.

Veto rule is used in my league where all 16 owners get to vote on trades.
Most trades go through but since I have been leading this league I cant get a trade to pass.
Fair not really but thats the price I have to pay for getting in first.
5 owners it takes to veto a trade.
Its yahoo and I could let yahoo decide on trades but I find with out a complaint from a league owner to Yahoo a Albert Pujols for Marco Scudaro deal would skate through.
No perfect way to deal with trades but as a commish If I see something that I feel is bad for league I will get involved.
If that owner or owners dont like it ,I will tell them to find another league.
It is a difficult task at times to be commish and with 15 owners to deal with it could get rough.
Make it clear from the beginning for all owners to read the rules.
I give money to teams from 1 to 6 with the 2 teams that come out of there money prizes.
I also have a consolation round for the teams that finish 7 through 12 with some money on the line.
I also this year have added to keep teams from dumping something new.
Our trade dead line is August 19th.
The team after the tradeline that puts up the best record till the playoffs start gets a cash prize.
For All 16 teams this is a H2H league really Have no reason to dump I think if you give them a carrot to go for.
So if I trade with the 16th place team both of us are still fighting for something if the trade does not get vetoed.
Not full proof but the majority of the owners are on board with it.
Some want more money to go to the top.
But I spread it out give everyone a shot and lets face it if your looking for a High Stakes league your in the wrong league.
This one costs 150 a team.
Dumping sucks change the rules the rich should not get richer come August!
